2013 Range Rover was on the market in summer 2012 and made a great success. Now Land Rover unfilled orders for the new 2014 Range Rover, which is available in showrooms this summer. In addition, the upcoming 2014 Range Rover will be presented with a new and more efficient 340 hp (250 kW) supercharged V-6 engine. This unit offers exceptional performance and refinement with improved fuel efficiency. Be the turbocharged V6 engine available, in addition to the 510 hp (375 kW) supercharged V8 engine. Both devices will be paired with an eight-speed ZF 8HP70 automatic transmission. The new engine, but the new Range Rover can be from 0 bis 100 kmh acceleration in just 7.1 seconds.
The peak power of 340 hp at 6,500 rpm and produces a peak torque from 3500 to 5000 revolutions per minute. In particular, the auxiliary drive motor waterproof, as the alternator, air conditioning compressor, and starter motor. What's more, the four-cam V6 shares: a lightweight aluminum block with cross-bolt main bearing caps? They offer higher performance. The valves are managed here by a twin independent variable valve timing (DIVCT). The latter is activated by the positive and negative torque by the movement of the intake and exhaust valves.
In addition, the improved fuel economy thanks to Intelligent Stop Land Rover/start. In fact, it reduces the engine at idle, under certain conditions, reduces fuel consumption and emissions. Another interesting technique here is the spray injection (SGDi). SGDi delivers precise quantities of fuel directly into the combustion chambers at a pressure of up to 150 bar (2175 psi). This creates more homogeneous air-fuel mixture for cleaner and more efficient combustion. There is also a new Bosch engine management system controls all functions of the device.
