2013 Renault Clio


As promised, the French car manufacturer details and pictures with the fourth-generation Renault Clio is now showing a vehicle that will be seen in the flesh at the Paris Motor Show later this year. Clio 2013 is the first model of the new Renault-style, with a design is described as a significant shift away from previous models, and an interior that is "safe, secure and refreshing" feature. The new Clio, which borrows many styling cues from the concept dezir was "like a piece of sensual image, the demand stimulated conceived." There is "no acute or aggressive corners, only lascivious curves you want to stroke and they go," says Laurens van den Acker, senior vice president, corporate design.

Among the highlights of the vehicle include the prominent Renault logo, LED daytime running lights, rear door handles in the vicinity of the rear vent windows hidden, and the chrome ornamentation above the side sills. The vehicle is lower and wider than its predecessor and is about 100 kg lighter. The apparatus uses a higher quality comfort materials is combined with ease of use by the dashboard in the form of an aircraft wing formed.

The engines on the 2013 Renault Clio three-cylinder, 899cc turbo unit (0.9-liter dCi 90), 90hp and 135Nm at 2,000 rpm delivers a 1.2-liter four-cylinder installation (1.2 dCi 120) delivers 120 hp and 190 Nm running torque of 1,750 revolutions per minute and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine of 90 horses and 220 Nm of torque at 1,750 revolutions per minute. Renault claims in terms of consumption, that the TCE 90 variant, which will be available with a six-speed gearbox EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch), returns to the situation, 65.7 mpg (UK rating) and emits just 99 grams CO2 per kilometers. The price for the Renault Clio 2013 will probably be announced after the car will be premiered in Paris in September.
