2013 Nissan Pathfinder

Nissan is using the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, a version of its next-generation Pathfinder, the company called a "concept", but what you see here is, above all see what you are, if the production version will be this fall, a 2013 mirror model. How we, as we spy shots last month, was the first Pathfinder, a body-on-frame SUV, the second is a unibody crossover, and the third again a frame-totin 'SUV. The fourth Pathfinder closed frame, because it its architecture shares with the Toyota D-JX35. Since the box-shaped, Trucky, third-generation Pathfinder, the concept is able to seat seven passengers in three rows of seats, but the similarities seem to remain. This new model, a appears, how it will actually be aerodynamically that is correct... Goodbye rugged, stone-Basher Hello, smooth soft-roaders, we can not say much, that we on the other hand, as well the extended wheel arches, sloping front, and the general contours of how a Touch-are conservative.

But if you think outside the well, steel yourself for what's in there, it is normal. The company has not released specific information about the location of the Pathfinder configurations or comfort, entertainment and comfort features, but does so on a leg and promise a lot of space in manageable outside the Pathfinder that you customized. (But we want a press release that said, read "Yes, that's something big, but it will have to go to, like, no interior Sorry. '). There is one more thing: The concept has a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. This is probably due to the final list of options.

The Pathfinder has a concept of "sophisticated" V-6 is placed under the hood and the engine with a continuously variable transmission. The JX probably points the way to more details: The hotel offers Nissan VQ35DE make 3.5-liter six-cylinder 265 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. Expect the same shift, and similar, if not slightly lower output voltage in the Pathfinder. Nissan claims that the plant achieved a 25 percent increase in fuel consumption compared to previous generation V-6 model, which is assessed at 15 mpg city and 22 highways in the rear-wheel drive and shape 14/20 with AWD. The concept is all-wheel drive, which will be an extra-cost upgrade from the standard-equipped front-wheel drive, when the production comes Pathfinder. Towing capacity, Nissan says, will be comparable with the leaders in this segment.

Although it is for a transition model of a frame-type unibody construction and go back much less unusual to see back there makes perfect sense here. Nissan in the U.S. offer is not a large, relatively inexpensive family support as Geordi La Forge look in a samurai helmet (looking at you, Quest), and the company says that Pathfinder of the brand with the most recognizable image in the U.S. The application of this kind of brand equity to a non-filled and usually profitable hole in the schedule should equal success, but, as always, the proof of the pudding will be in production. Expect more details shortly about the fourth one less conceptual Pathfinder.
