2013 Ford Escape

FoMoCo has confirmed that all three engine offerings for the 2013 Ford Escape on the EPA 30 mpg or more are certified to get to the highway. The three 2013 Ford Escape motors are as follows (city / highway) EPA estimates:

       * 1.6-liter EcoBoost (178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque), 23/33 mpg.
       * 2.0-liter EcoBoost (240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque), 22/30 mpg.
       * 2.5-liter IVCT (168 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque), 22/31 mpg.

Power for the base 2013 Ford Escape S comes from a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder makes 168 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Jump on the 2013 Ford Escape SE, which starts at $ 25,070 comes from the current 1.6-liter EcoBoost making 178-hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. The top-of-the-line $ 30,370 Ford Escape Titanium gets the 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder standard, so that the 240-hp and 270 lb-ft of torque.
