2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK


At first glance, it looks like not much has been done on the redesigned 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class crossover, just before the middle of the usual cycle of Nip / Tuck was. Under the hood, the GLK, Mercedes added the newly massaged 3.5-liter V-6 engine currently spidering through its line-up. With a higher compression ratio and fuel injection, maximum power output jumps from 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque to 302 hp and 273 lb-ft, all while improving fuel efficiency in the process. The automaker expects 0-to-60 mph times in 6.5-second range with a top speed of 130 miles per hour. Additional fuel-saving measures include new Benz ECO start-stop system, together with a lower slip torque converter and a different kind of liquid to improve the efficiency of the standard seven-speed automatic transmission. Speaking of fuel is the new GLK250 BlueTEC model in early 2013 by Turbo Diesel-Benz 2.1-liter inline four with 190 horsepower and 369 lb-ft power. Mercedes says the diesel has to be "very effective" fuel economy and expected to go up for sale GLK250 BlueTec diesel versions of the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Currently, the GLK350 is assessed by the EPA at 16/22 mpg city / highway. The latest update is a mechanical movement with electromechanical power assistance, instead of the previous hydraulic assist setup. Mercedes GLK says that the control remains "exactly and responsive" and will assist speed-sensitive steering with variable ratio and marked.

Finally, given the five-seat interior of the GLK range upgrades. The lever is in the center console to the steering column that moves freed up space for two more cup holders under a sliding.
