2013 Hyundai Elantra GT

Once the price-conscious, Hyundai is looking to save money for his latest five-door Elantra badge. Why else would the name of the Elantra Touring in the revived name Elantra GT? The new sedan will debut at the Chicago Auto Show 2012 with a two-door Elantra. Name change aside, the second-generation Elantra five-door Hyundai i30 Americanized another. Hyundai Elantra found that the GT more space for passengers and luggage than all competitors will be five-door, with the exception of the newly expanded Subaru Impreza. There is no mention, however, that these figures are from the last car. Reasons is that the new i30 and thus loses the GT-up, car-style rear shorter length and height, rides on a shorter wheelbase and is slightly wider than the car replaced. Seats folded capacity drops to 14.3 cubic meters to a still competitive 51stAll in all, it is much more attractive than the outgoing car, and fits well with the rest of the Elantra lineup.

Are offered in lieu of small diesel and gas engines in the European i30, the American market GT uses the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder sedan Elantra like ours: it is 148 hp and 131 lb-ft of torque is. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed automatic is optional. Hyundai estimates that either transmission is 28 mpg city or 39 on the highway in EPA testing both measures are 1 mpg lower than the Elantra sedan to reach. This is a place where the GT has a substantial lead in the 2012 Elantra Touring, which was valued at up to 23 mpg city and 31 highways. Hyundai says that the GT is a sporty suspension tuning to get basic than the sedan, and that a more focused organization is enthusiastic for the hatch as part of the Style package. The electric power steering, while similar to the sedan, adds driver-selectable modes: Comfort, Normal and Sport settings, and offers variable assist and building characteristics.

The Elantra GT, which will be built in South Korea, with typical Hyundai-level standard equipment: a six-speaker stereo with iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, power everything, and Hyundai Blue Link telematics system. Uplevel features such as leather, panoramic sunroof and navigation (bundled with a rearview camera out of sight) is optional. Exact prices will be going for the GT on sale this summer announced, but you have a base-sticker near the current cars, $ 16,770 is expected. Assuming this new hatch can match or improve the dynamics of the competent touring, it should be a decent value in any size, but the volume per dollar.
