2013 Ford Explorer Sport

When Ford introduced the sporty new version of the new unibody Explorer in March, many were confused by us, why they made just a sport model, not an all-out version on the side of the Taurus SHO drop. Anyway, apparently Ford has just announced the official prices for the new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport announced. Presented by the Taurus SHO EcoBoost 3.5L V6 that produces 350 hp 2013 Ford Explorer and a lofty 350 pounds-feet of torque. The reason why the Explorer EcoBoost V6 is down on power compared to the 365hp rating of the Taurus SHO and Flex EcoBoost V6 will be 355 caused by the different exhaust setup on the Explorer of the more ground clearance.

The Explorer Sport comes complete with a more severe cooling system and radiators, the brakes of the Taurus SHO Performance Package and a revised all-wheel drive system that can send 80% of torque to the Explorer sport on the back, instead of 60% as the other models. The cost for this is $ 41,545. And so you get a totally different look of the standard browser with a unique tinted coating, such as a grid, side mirror caps and front and rear light surrounds. Twenty-inch wheels are standard with a sport suspension, a hi-fi sound quality of Sony, leather, Ford SYNC and MYFORD systems. Demanding an additional $ 4130 is a premium package that only consists of a bucket list of interior options. When maxed, the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport is also a nice big run $ 52,760.
