2012 Volkswagen Passat R-Line

Can produce only a few car manufacturers do the kind of sport sedans, the Germans. And for most automobile manufacturers in the country, these performance vehicles identified with a letter (or a combination of a pair): M for BMW, Audi RS, AMG Mercedes-Benz ... and R for Volkswagen. The relatively new performance division in Wolfsburg has now got his hands on the Passat, and these are the results. Well, almost but not quite. You see, this is not a full-on R Performance version, but an R-Line model is the mid-size sedan (and wagon) a sportier look and improved suspension, but moods without the motor would expect you to work with it.

It is not the same as the Passat here. Our America (Chattanooga, Tennessee, to be exact). This is based on European models, and as such is available (in Europe, anyway) in both the sedan and wagon form. In each body style, the Passat R-Line, a new aerodynamic kit (complete with sporty front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser and trunk lid spoiler), 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and a cabin with sports seats, stainless steel finish and a flat bottom steering wheel adorned. The R line model as a separate trim level on the top of the Passat range - sales of € 30.225 in Germany (equivalent to about $ 39k) - but the buyer of the Comfortline and Highline trim levels can also use the Aero Kit for additional (€ 990 ~ 1300 ).
