BMW releases details on the changes in the X6 crossover. The 2013 model gets light-emitting diodes and rear, an optional third row of seats and decisions in terms of performance, and leather wheel size. Improved models are wearing LED headlights in the front with the signature of BMW bright rings on display. The lights are adaptive, it is at an angle to the corner, and they are amplified by small lights. In the back are newly equipped with LEDs and rear emphasize the width of the vehicle. According to BMW, they create the brand characteristic night design as a glowing mass of light.
Nevada leather is standard and is available in
black or red. Customers can nappa leather, which also comes in white to update.
Measuring 25.6 cubic feet trunk with the seats and nearly 60 cubic feet, when
they are down. A three-seater rear bench is optional sliding passenger capacity
to five. Two models are available in the United States, the X6 xDrive50i
with an available 400-horsepower twin-turbo V8 and the xDrive35i with 300-horsepower
inline six-cylinder engine. An eight-speed automatic is standard on both.
Anyone looking
for a couple of ponies, to decide between the M Performance Package, not to be
confused with the M line performance. This includes an upgrade of 15 horsepower
and 30 Nm of torque in the six-cylinder models and 40 hp and 30 Nm for the V8.
The performance package also adds 20-inch wheels, black chrome exhaust tips,
stainless steel pedals and a few other trim bits. If that is not enough, buyers
can opt for the X6M, with 555 horsepower and a six-speed automatic
transmission. The 2013 BMW X6 comes in showrooms this spring.
